I’m thrilled with how much I’ve learned this semester in EALJ 10001 with かわむらせんせい and all of you! I can't believe that the semester has already come to an end. I will miss this class and all of you! 😢 I wish it could go on forever. But I am also so excited for all the cool things that we can do with everything we’ve learned this semester! I will no longer be at Notre Dame next year, but this class has inspired me to take my study of Japanese more seriously. Now that I have these elementary foundations down, I feel empowered to continue this language-learning journey as I head off to the world beyond ND (which as it turns out will still be South Bend, as that's where I've decided to call home for the next 3 years during med school). ありがとうございます、かわむらせんせい！I could never have learned as much as I did without your gentle and patient guidance!

わたしはヘズバーグにいきました。ヘズバーグであそびました。ポップがすきです！星野 源と藤井風がすきです。 I really enjoyed this year's Sakura Matsuri! I encountered several songs that I will definitely be adding to my music playlist, and I appreciated the opportunity to learn a bit more about a culture outside of my own. It was impressive seeing how creative all of my classmates in the Japanese Program are! The festival was a lot of fun, and I'm so glad that we all had the opportunity to participate.
